Sure the guy was probably going faster than the speed limit, but then again he probably would have been fine...but with the cop sitting there like that, he decided to grab the brakes which is a lot of peoples response I'd think and that layed him out...
your call?

dude should have been more skilled and continued to drive on when he saw the cop. Point is he wrecked because he saw the cop but really though if he was the shizz he would have been able to continue along his way and hope the cop did not catch him. my two centimos

Twitch reactions are the worst when riding sportbikes. Slamming the throttle shut when the back tire comes out is the worst, I've seen it damage a couple spines in my time.
Grabbing the brakes in a corner is the second worst
Well, it's obvious that the cop was there to catch speeders given his location and the road. I guess the idea of a speeder on a bike didn't cross his mind. If the officer has never ridden a bike he likely would not have known how likely this scenario is.
But, on the other hand ... for most drivers in general, the reaction to "cop" is "brake." Bike or car, speeding or no. Most people are generally wary of cops already and are usually going a little fast, so when they see a cop they immediately slow down, no matter their speed. so, this would have likely happened if the biker was speeding or not, which adds a whole new layer to the drama here ...

this is what I was trying to say about the cop not being in that exact spot because of people's reaction when they see a cop. He could have easily been parked back facing the turn (if the road allowed) and caught someone speeding out of the turn.

It would have been a better spot to sit going into the corner so that he could get them a full speed coming out of the privous corner, you would be able to write a higher speed ticket that way.
